Runners High is a strange album. It comes in after Little Busters (The album after Lostman) and carries a a very different mood. The emotional ranges that are seen in both lostman and Little Busters are still present, but in a much more playful manner. Its opening track Sad Sad Kiddie is one of the band's first all english songs, and sets up perfectly into the second song of the album, Instant Music. Following instant music comes Juliet and white ash, two much more energetic songs. From here the album holds its energy until Bran-New Lovesong, which acts as the final calm point. Runner's High (the track) is an anthem about the album itself, screaming the album's title with a similar energy seen in its earlier songs. The album has no bad songs, though its discography is the most forgettable of the three.
