Please Mr. Lostman acts as a milestone in the pillows' early discography. It marks their shift from their jazzy, upbeat style to their grungier, Shimokita-kei. While it still keeps upbeat motifs in songs such as, Trip Dancer, and Swanky Street. It leans into moodier areas such as its opening track, Stalker, or the main event of the album, Strange Chameleon-Original story. While not considered part of the golden Trio, I believe it earns a role as one of the best albums in the pillows' discography.
